Will Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance Forever Survive Sanctuary: Shattered Sun?

With Sanctuary: Shattered Sun on the way, do you think Forged Alliance is in trouble? Both games seem to target the same audience with large-scale RTS gameplay, but Sanctuary is bringing updated mechanics and visuals to the table.

Will Forged Alliance keep its core community, or is it time to move on? Curious what you all think.

FAF will survive, sure. Sanctuary will require some pretty steep hardware, so there is always be a place for potato machine gamers on FAF.

Both games have aspects that make them unique and different from each other. The age of Supreme Commander Forged Alliance and the amount of time it has remained alive, will surely expect it to have a player base in the future. Like anything that ages, there will be limitations with the more modern technological infrastructure, in which Sanctuary takes advantage of. To answer your question, I wouldn't say FAF will 'die'

I agree. FAF isn't going to 'die' or fail or anything like that. Sure, people will want to experience the next generation of games like supcom, and Sanctuary is it.
