What's your favourite RTS game based on American Civil War?

Have you ever played any real time strategy game that's based on the American Civil War? If you haven't, I can recommend a great one for you to try out. Grand Tactician: The Civil War (1861-1865) is the best RTS game which is based on the American Civil War.

Players in the game are to control large-scale battles, focus on the broader management of armies, logistics, and strategic planning throughout the war in the game. The game incorporates a perfect mix of real-time tactics and grand strategy.

Well, I have not played a lot of RTS games based on the American Civil War, I have experience with only two Ultimate General: Civil War and American Civil War: Gettysburg. I liked Ultimate General: Civil War because it has tactical depth, and evolving campaign. However, American Civil War: Gettysburg seems to be more accurate historically.

Yeah, that's very correct. I've managed to check out the game on Steam as well as other sites to colorate the reviews. Most of them came up with a positive thumbs up review. I think I'm going to buy the Ultimate General Fan BUNDLE which consists of 3 games - Ultimate General: American Revolution, Ultimate Admiral: Age of Sail and Ultimate General: Civil War.

I’m so glad for the recommendation that you supplied. So, Grand Tactician: The Civil War looks so much like a cool game and I can tell that it is actually a blend of real-time tactical and strategic wargaming. Obviously, I also like the strategic planning involved in this rts game.
