What sacrifices have you made because of a game?

I had a friend in college withdraw from all his classes so that he could devote more time to playing EverQuest and some other games. It was hard to believe if I didn't personally witness it.
It only goes to show the extent people can go for gaming.

Yeah he really is. Gambling with his studies for games? Heaven knows such a thought can never occur to me.
You mean there are times you didn't go to some family gathering to focus on gaming?

I can't count the number of times I've stayed up late playing games and missed out on some fun activities with my friends. Now, i’ve learnt to balance gaming with other things. At the same time, I can't totally neglect gaming becauae it's so much fun.
