It is worth knowing what makes the storyline in strategy games super interesting. For me,. it's the adventures and the levels of challenges.

One of the best campaigns I had was in Age of Empires III. I enjoyed exploring and battling with enemies. These things were great and they made the game’s story very thrilling. It makes me want to play more of the game.

What about you?

You're right, if the campaigns are outstanding, I wouldn't want to put down the controller. Also, if the multiplayer feature offers impressive 1v1 or co-op mode, I'm hooked!

For me the main attractions are meticulous planning and execution of strategies, managing resources and and outsmarting opponent. I love managing resources in Age of Empires, coordinating massive battles in StarCraft, and making split-second tactical decisions in Company of Heroes. RTS games feel like a chess match where a lot of things goes before executing the move.

I like StarCraft II, especially when it comes to the intense fight against the bad guys. It gets me hooked. I also like the graphics because it makes the characters more realistic. Also, if the game's plot is fantastic and full of surprises, that makes me want to keep on playing.
