Without a doubt in my heart, that’s StarCraft II. For this reason it is indeed a definition of competitive RTS, due to the depth, faction balance, and the skill needed to master the game. It's a perfect RTS for intense competition.

In my opinion Age of Empires IV should be implemented in the list of games to be played of it has not been included. It uses a unique game mechanics, looks great, and it has well balanced factions, making it an esport material.
