What causes you to leave quests permanently unfinished?

It's a common thing for gamers to leave a particular quest unfinished for one reason or another. Bugs and glitches are part of the reason why some players abandon a particular quest without ever coming back to it. Some might be as a result of the quest being too repetitive.

What other reasons have you permanently left a quest permanently?

Usually if they become too tedious or annoying to complete. Also if they aren't fun at all, I don't play games for mindless tasks these days.
