What are the top units to face in Age of Empires?

There are a lot of units that you can find very frustrating when you are playing Age of Empires. When it comes to playing this RTS, can you remember most of the top units that are most challenging to face? I know Samurai is one because of its mobility and high damage that you can encounter.
