Thrive: Heavy Lies The Crown is a very complex city builder game which incorporates real time strategy elements especially through its real-time combat system.

In the game, players are to create and establish a kingdom through constructing various structures, management of resources, and ensuring the well-being of their citizens. You have to constantly defend your kingdom against Waelgrim in a real time battle to ensure its survival.

I honestly have no idea about Thrive: Heavy Lies The Crown. How challenging do you think would be the resource management? Are there any unique mechanics that will set this game apart from other city builders with RTS elements? I watched the trailer and it looks intriguing.

If you played any other RTS games with a complex building mechanics, you would know how challenging those type of RTS game designs usually is when trying to do it in real time. One of the unique mechanics I love about the game is how realistic the warfare design in the game are made.

So, you have played the game, right? What kind of game is it, a city building, or a real time combat? I am more interested in combat games than in city building games

Yes of course, I've played the game - Thrive: Heavy Lies The Crown even though it's not the full game yet because it's only still out in early access. I bought it on Steam. The game offers both single-player and multiplayer modes with up to four players.

You're playing the role of building and managing a kingdom. Critical decisions are made which would dictate the survival and prosperity of the kingdom. If you don't make the right decisions, it's going to lead to the doom of your realm.

Based on my observations, it is a very exciting and complex game to play. But it is much is more appealing because city-building and it also involves the addition of the elements of real-time strategy, most especially the fighting system. So, all these features enhances the whole idea.
