This has really sparked debates on several gaming communities like Reddit. For me, the pixel art makes the old games extremely classy. I see titles like Command & Conquer and Age of Empires look extremely better on modern graphics. On the other hand, some players found the old school look exhilarating. Do you think the retro graphics are nostalgic or it's just some kind of exaggeration?

I do not like new games with that retro gaming look. Yes, they can borrow elements from it, but I find it forceful sometimes. I would rather my classics have the retro look or use pixel art and new games or remasters use modern graphics, but still scratch an itch for lovers of long-running franchises.

You know why I like retro graphics? It keeps the gameplay simple and neat, not with some fancy or excessive effects. I like to focus on the gameplay and not get carried away with the graphics. Games like StarCraft and Warcraft III have really proven that simplicity works.

I found some games that perfectly blend both the old and modern mechanics. They truly worked magic. I see this in games like They Are Billions and Northgard. There is something in feeling both the old school and modern vibes in a game.

I do not think we can give a definitive answer to this question. For many retro graphics evoke a sense of nostalgia, reminding them of cherished memories. On the other hand, some retro-style graphics might appear outdated in modern gaming environments. Retro graphics can offer a unique and visually appealing aesthetic, and I like that.

I think over time it becomes overrated. I prefer playing an RTS game with more modern graphics. I have always been a fan of good graphics.
