Ranked Play: Fair or Frustrating?

Are you into ranked matches Online or you're not? Sometimes it could be very enjoyable, but sometimes it is really aggravating. In some games, you might end up with teammates that do not cooperate or find yourself in some matches that seem rigged.

Some wanted the ranked play while it's not some people’s cup of tea.

What do you think? Is ranked play fun or stressful?

I'll go through phases where I play a decent amount of ranked games, but I feel like once I get to the right rating, it gets more stressful for me. I've never taken ranked team games as seriously. Especially not when I have random teammates. I do think a ranked game mode is crucial for an RTS, since there's a good portion of the player base that enjoys the PvP aspect.

So for me, ranked play is both fun and stressful. I've mostly been avoiding it in recent years as my focus has changed from trying to be good at the game to trying to have fun.

It's so frustrating! At some point, I get teammates who are just lazy or intentionally disruptive. It is frustrating when we are defeated all because of them. I wish there was a way the game could get me players who want to play nicely and practice very hard.

I like ranked play because it can make me improve. But sometimes it’s irritating when people fail to follow the simple rules. But it would be better if the game can penalize those who do not abide by the rules and give rewards to those who do! That way, everybody has a good time playing with each other.
