What book do the faction use : Sun tzu book or Carl von Clausewitz book ?
Why would they even base their strategy on an outdated book written thousands of years ago during time when where used outdated weapons. No idiot would base their war strategies on a guy who was using Humans with swords for an army when they are using RC unitsWhat book do the faction use : Sun tzu book or Carl von Clausewitz book ?
well because the first one is about the total anihilation of the ennemy unitWhy would they even base their strategy on an outdated book written thousands of years ago during time when where used outdated weapons. And? Like at least half of the advices there are no longer relevant. There is no reason nobody else would make a more modern book based on modern information and data that would be many times more relevant than a book a of a chinese guy that lived more then 2000 years agowell because the first one is about the total anihilation of the ennemy unit
well no lore says about it soAnd? Like at least half of the advices there are no longer relevant. Because nobody cares about it. There is absolutely no reason to know about it, it changes nothingwell no lore says about it so
well yes because if not they are just doing ww2 tactics or just spamming artyBecause nobody cares about it. There is absolutely no reason to know about it, it changes nothing
Huh? How is it even related?well yes because if not they are just doing ww2 tactics or just spamming arty
well because we are set in 2073, there had been no new war since, well today or even 200-350 years so i don t think everybody know how to do strategy apart of, well the basic. also do chosen use heavly sub commander ? do guard use underground ways so that they can invade from underground ? does eda stealth hide the noise they do ?Huh? How is it even related?
Bruh, it is 27th century, not 2073, do you even read lore?well because we are set in 2073, there had been no new war since, well today or even 200-350 years so i don t think everybody know how to do strategy apart of, well the basic. also do chosen use heavly sub commander ? do guard use underground ways so that they can invade from underground ? does eda stealth hide the noise they do ?
sorry wanted to say 2703 but they are in 2758Bruh, it is 27th century, not 2073, do you even read lore?
Still, there is no way there were no new wars using more modern weapons, in last 2 years we go 2 pretty big conflicts. And even if there were no more wars in between, a new manual based on ww2 would have 10 times more relevancy than whatever Sun Tzu wrotesorry wanted to say 2703 but they are in 2758
still want the eda to have at least a "for war strategy" book. fit their faction (could be their "codex astartes")Still, there is no way there were no new wars using more modern weapons, in last 2 years we go 2 pretty big conflicts. Why would they. Literally the only one to fight on a battlefield are commanders. They don't need such a set of rule for a war, because war is not always the same, it is different from a battlefield to battlefield. And why would it be in some sort of a book? Just showing data of recorded battles would be more usefull then a book with "You should not snipe a commander because there is no honor in it"still want the eda to have at least a "for war strategy" book. fit their faction (could be their "codex astartes")
tell me what will change with open map with no logistic and no moral for the next 1000 yearsWhy would they. Literally the only one to fight on a battlefield are commanders. No logistics on the battlefield are because it is not a desired game mechanic in the game. You talked about wanting something like Codex Astarteas for EDA, but it won't be the case. EDA are very technical in their action, and they value efficiency over look. Any of their military "books" would have a list of strategies, different data charts, examples of successful missions and a list of warcrimes to not do. You will not get anything interesting to read in literature sense, because there is absolutely no reason such a faction would do that. Such a thing has very little importance, and so lore lords right now don't care about ittell me what will change with open map with no logistic and no moral for the next 1000 years
Unfortunately, their relevance is gone and that makes it a complete waste of time basing your strategy on what's written in the book. The whole battle warfare have changed, so the strategy information in the books wouldn't be helpful in any way. What book do the faction use : Sun tzu book or Carl von Clausewitz book ?
The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.
If you know the enemy and know yourself you need not fear the results of a hundred battles.
Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.
