Metal Fatigue was created in 2000 and it's one of the few sci-fi real-time strategy games that introduce players to the management of resources. Players have to collect resources, control their mechs and build them from scratch. Metal Fatigue provides a nice combination of action and tactic game.
 
I haven’t played Metal Fatigue, and honestly, it doesn’t sound like something I would like to try. The concept of building mechs from scratch is certainly interesting, but I wonder how complex is the resource management? Does the gameplay feel balanced, or does it become repetitive?
 
I like the Metal Fatigue concept. The digital and physical toys Combots are really amusing to build up and to battle with. I also liked the idea of the three-layered battlefield, it’s really cool; it brings a new dimension to the game.
