Machines is a 3D real time strategy game published in 1999 and it takes player into the future with robots and robot wars. This game involves the creation of your own powerful robotic forces and to construct and lead them against your opponents. It lets the players experience a future world, collect resources, and build armies to win battles

Actually, I heard about Machines a long time ago but I never tried it. The idea of creating and commanding robotic forces in a futuristic setting sounds pretty exciting to me but I would like to know how customizable are the robots? Does the 3D aspect enhance the gameplay, or does it feel dated now?
