Do you love or hate Micro-management? Personally, I find it very overwhelming to control my units and resources in Age of Empire. Some times, I find myself lost in the details and I tend to forget what's in the bigger picture. Micro-management is very crucial, especially in battles that are intense. But I it has actually distracted me from overall goals before. So, it's very complicated.

To me, micro-management is very essential. I have won battles with it multiple times. But I need to point out that quick reflexes and unit positioning are very crucial. I make sure to apply it in StarCraft and Command & Conquer because these games require precision when it comes to micro-management.

My perspective is a little bit different because I think micromanagement is overrated. I believe more in Macro-strategies like army composition. And when I focuse too much on individual units, it's very possible to neglects the bigger picture. So, maintaining a balance is very crucial. It's also very neccessary to prioritize resource management and army composition to win battles.

Micro-management can hugely impact your success in the game, however, whether it is essential or overrated depends largely on the specific game and player preferences. With micro-management, you can exert precise control over your units, however, micro-managing every unit can also be extremely time-consuming and can distract players
