Is Chaos Walkers supposed to be that much of a nuisance?

I had to play Chaos and was really surprised by the Walker's design. You have the melee unit with shoulder-mounter artillery cannons. What should we call that?

You've got to combine those with the double Daemon Prince in order to have a chance. Is that not looking like I've got a lesser chance?
