The developers of the Sanctuary: Shattered Sun knows how it's very important to have a very good visual effects in the game. This is why they've been putting every effort into making it a reality. This is why they've completed and introduce the all-new Guard Muzzle Beam effect into the game in order to give gamers a thrilling gaming experience.

Ooh now that looks cool! Imagine how much better it'll look once the game comes out and if you have the latest graphics card. Now if only the beam was green, then it'd look even cooler! :D Seriously, for a indie developed game the renders I've seen so far have looked fantastic.

You know most laser beams are usually in red colour, so I'm guessing that's why the developers went for the red colour for the beam light. It looks great in my opinion but green wouldn't be that bad either.

Or even red, because that is orange in color. Laser beams are known for being dangerous. So the color red perfectly denotes that.

For this game being in early development that looks awesome and I can only imagine how much better it would look when the game is fully developed and ready.

With how graphics are in games now and what we see, that is going to look so much better once it's in its final stages.

Very much looking forward to how this progresses.

Yeah, that's very correct. I've watched some movies and even video games where laser beams are used as a security cover to prevent and protect something, they always come in red colour.
