When it comes to RTS gaming, time management plays a very important role. The gamer has to be able to take certain actions or make certain preparations at exactly the right time. As a beginner, how do I effectively manage my time in the game?

You need to study how the rivals operate as that would give you an idea of when to strike and when not to. If you master that art of fighting, you will notice that you won't waste more time where it is not necessarily needed.

Time management skills are very important while playing RTS game. You should break down larger objectives into smaller, more manageable tasks. Also, determine what is the most important tasks that you have to complete first.

You should review what needs to be done and make a plan for what should happen. Kind of having an outline always helps.

Discovering the first task that you need to handle in most rts games is the key point of playing the game. It will always help, and in most cases, it is understandable to look at that bigger picture to see what you need to handle first.

Gaming can be pretty addicting, so I recommend putting your work first. This way, you won't miss out on real life while playing games.

Planning and reviewing your strategies is how you can be able to utilise and manage not only your time effectively but also your resources and gameplan.

I don't think the OP was talking about managing his time in real life with playing RTS games. You have misunderstood his point. It's about how to manage his time in playing the game with either resources management, time management, unit management and so on.
