How do I defeat Gaia and her army of heroes in AOMR?

Yeah so I just realized how overpowered Gaia is with her army of heroes on the game. What's the most effective way to defeat them?

Someone suggested I should swarm them with human units and counter as hard as I can, is this advisable because I think Gaia can turn human soldiers into heroes...

If you have considered the risk of Gaia’s ability to convert human units into heroes, you would know it's not a 100% effective way to beating Gaia. You have to make sure not to allow Gaia outlast you economically. You should use siege weapons very well because they are very effective in breaking Gaia’s strongholds.

I tried the siege weapons but I still couldn't win. There is something I'm not doing right.

Well, I also know that it really challenging to defeat Gaia because she extremely strong in battles. So, I will advise to use strong myth units like minotaurs or cyclops. They are less easily overshadowed by Gaia.

I think you need to counter her eco-focused playstyle with aggressive rushes before she fortifies. You can use fire-based units and siege to destroy and defeat Gaia in Age of Mythology: Retold. Her heroes are strong, so you need to overwhelm them with massed myth units or god powers.
