How can I improve my skills as a beginner?

When it comes to RTS games, I am pretty much a novice in this area. I have tried a few RTS games but couldn't really understand how it works and even play for long. I would really like to improve my skills,as beginner what do I need to do to improve how I play RTS games?

You need to play more! There are no secrets to becoming better at playing rts games than working and playing more of those games. That is one of the ways that you can become very good at it.

The more you play, the better you become. Practice makes you perfect, You have heard it, right? You also need to watch and read tutorials and participate in gaming communities to get help

If you want to be better, play more or watch some YouTube videos. It is like anything in real life; basically, the longer you do something, the better you become in that area.

I think a beginner to RTS games should start with titles that are easier like Command and Conquer, Statcrafy, Age of Empires IV. These games are easier to win and a beginner won't get easily discouraged. And they should endeavor to play frequently to master the RTS mechanics faster.

Practice makes perfection. The more you play as a new beginner to RTS games or even any other video games genre is the more you're going to keep improving your skills in the game. You can also watch other gamer's playthrough and learn from them.
