How Can I Do The Monitor and Display Settings for RTS?

The monitor is one of the essential hardware that is needed to enhance my gaming experience especially when I'm playing the RTS games. It is very necessary to ensure that the monitor has certain settings to make it appealing for effective gaming. So, what i do is set my monitor to a resolution of 1080p, which is perfect for a good graphics, I set the refresh rate to 60hz to make for a smooth gameplay and lastly, I ensure that my graphics quality is put on medium to get a reasonable effect..

As an RTS gamer, I don't joke with my monitor settings as I strive so hard to make sure that it's perfect for my gameplay preference. To get very clear graphics, I set the resolution to1440p, the refresh rate to 144Hz and sync technology to freesync. Trust me, my monitor looks absolutely stunning afterwards.

I think your setting is very perfect for me. It's true that the way the visuals are, will determines how you are going to invest yourself in the game. I take my monitor settings to a whole new level and it has really made RTS gaming very interesting to me.

I prefer to set my monitor brightness around 250-350 nits and also set my contrast at 50-70%. I don't feel comfortable with anything above 70% when it comes to my contrast.

This is indeed a good question but I wonder why no one has actually mentioned the brightness and contrast of the monitor. For my eye comfort, I adjust that until I'm able to get color accuracy. So, I adjust it to HDR for good colors.
