Gaming's Impact on Cognitive Skills

On a personal note, I like to engage myself in games that will enhance my thinking. I want games that could challenge me and improve my Problem-solving and multitasking skills in the process.
What are the possible games you think one could play to boost brain power?

I found games like Portal and The Talos Principle very helpful because they’ve helped me develop a analytical skills. So, whenever I need a a game that is challenging mentally, I would quickly rush Portal.

Most games can teach someone something, I know Final Fantasy can teach roman numerals while other games can teach you usual life skills like waiting or doing good things.

For me, it depends on the kind of game I play. True, most RTS games can improve one's decision making capacity and enhance our ability to solve real life problems. That is one of the reasons I mostly play RTS games now
