One of the features highlighted as being made available on a successful Kickstarter is a fully-fledged navy. The team at Sanctuary Shattered Sun has teased us with the Naval Factory in-game animation.

What do you think? Is this confirmation that navy is coming to Sanctuary? Or are we still reliant on Kickstarter to see this key feature being made available?

Since it is a single naval factory video, we know that they are working on it, but does not mean they can make full navy work if they don't get enough funds.
But time will tell the best

Navy is in docs works.
However, it requires range of additional game systems, to make it work well. Even tho, it seems simple, like just let unit move on water.
There are to be sonars and specific to navy movement behaviors implemented.
Also, we need produce models for navy structures and units.
So quite hips of works ahead, to support navy alone. :)

I rag on SupCom 2 a lot for good reason, but one thing I did like there was the Aeon having all hover units and Cybran units that could become walkers, so "naval" units weren't locked to the water. Nothing more frustrating than winning the naval war only to lose the match because all those unit you worked so hard on can't go on land to finish things off. If there is separate naval, I hope that there will be something like this, at least at higher tech levels or something.

problem was aeon hasn t any navy wich hurt it quite a lot when the ennemy bring battleships that will just blast your army at range and kites you. i prefer they have a real navy with support from land than their land army being their naval ones
