The most obvious innovation which Battle Aces is bringing to real-time strategy is the heavy restriction on game length. Games are limited to ten minutes. This is a focus on rapid action and streamlined mechanics. Resource gathering, which is typically the most micro-managed and time-consuming of RTS games is automated, meaning players can focus on the battlefield. Units are instantly spawned, and players can pre-select expansions and unit compositions before matches, emphasizing strategic preparation over in-game micromanagement.

That's two games in development which are promising changes in the typical RTS mechanics and bandying around words like 'inclusivity' and 'accessibility'. It'll be interesting to see if that amounts to anything or if its just a gimmick.

I think they have a good idea with what they are trying to create and develop with the game. If they can manage to pull it off, I would love to play that kind of RTS games. Definitely, other RTS games lovers will fancy playing RTS game that's built to manege game's lengthy process.
