Are there any RTS games with modern military?

I love playing real-time strategy games, but I have the intention of playing the ones with modern armies. I'm tired and bored of the ancient or futuristic ones. Are there games with tanks, helicopters, and modern warfare? What I wanted was to feel like I was commanding a real army. I've searched online, but the games I found are overwhelming, and I couldn't lay my hands on one. Can anyone help me find the best ones?

I saw a video of war game: red dragon on YouTube, the graphics was pretty decent and it also makes use of modern military rather than the ancient or futuristic ones. You can check it out if it is to your taste.

I think there are cool games that actually fit what you're looking for. Try to check out Wargroove, Hearts of Iron IV, and Command: Modern Operations. These are the games that I know have all the modern warfare with tanks, helicopters, and more. I’m sure you would get what you are looking for there.

The Act of War and Joint Task Force have modern warfare. I have played these games, and they look so real to me. They are super fun with modern armies, and you also get to experience realistic battles as well. Plus, they are easy to learn.

Command & Conquer: Generals (2003) is perfect with how the game was designed with modern war tactics. The three factions in the game are ; USA which is known for their high-tech, China with their massive armies, and the GLA with their guerrilla tactics.

There are many real time strategy games which are based off war design. It makes me wonder if not every RTS games which have been developed and released doesn't have war tactics embedded in it that's about survival? What do you think?

Actually, not all many RTS games focus on war themes. I do agree that war is a popular theme on RTS games, other RTS games explore themes like economic management, city-building, and even fantasy settings, where the primary focus might not be direct combat but rather resource allocation and strategic development.

There are lots of RTS games with modern military concepts that I seen and played. literally every current game uses the modern military concept. If you want more tactical gameplay you might also like the ArmA series.
