Any good modern RTS games similar to Command and Conquer Generals

I'm a huge fan of the RTS games. It's my favourite genre. I have played Command & Conquer Generals a lot of times, and I feel like trying new games like it. I have read a lot online, but I don't seem to be satisfied. I’m curious: are there any modern real-time strategy games similar to Command and Conquer?

What about the Company of Heroes? Have you tried or heard about this one? Why not give it a try or watch some videos about it on YouTube so you can better decide before you start playing.

I think Company of Heroes 2 and Wargroove are similar to Command and Conquer. They're very similar to Generals but with some new twists. If you check the Company of Heroes 2, it has intense World War II battles. Wargroove allows you to build and battle armies. Both of them should be good for you.

Next time there is a demo or beta for Tempest Rising, try it. It's very much like Generals. Mass Conflict: Ignition is another new indie title which has Generals DNA all over it.

Check out Act of War and Tom Clancy's EndWar. These are modern RTS games that I like so much. They have realistic armies and battles. Plus, they have exciting story modes as well. Try them out and thank me later.
