I'm Jason from Northeast Tennessee, USA. I am new to the game. However, it sounds massively interesting. O.K., this has something to do with some bio-dome around a shattered sun, right? How shattered is the sun? Is the sun damaged? Obviously, being so close to a sun like the one the Earth has or stronger would be impossible, even with a dome.

Anyway, about myself, I like web development, playing musical instruments, gaming, digital art creation and hiking, among other stuff. Anyone into this stuff? Anyone been to the US or where I am specifically?

Hi Jason. It's a Dyson Sphere built to surround our sun and harness all it's energy. It's an interesting premise. Welcome to the forums. I've only ever been to Los Angeles when I was a kid. Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig country.

Hey Jason! Welcome to Shattered Sun RTS :) it's great to see you here!

I myself have been somewhat following the game's development and the news that has been released for the game but I will admit, I am also learning so much I never knew as well.

Will you be playing the game when it is released or even a beta or demo if they choose to release one?

I might consider getting it if it comes out for Nintendo. As of now, I don't have a gaming system, but I'm working on getting one. Anyway, I might get two gaming systems, in case games I like, for instance, Sanctuary: Shattered Sun, aren't on Nintendo.

Welcome to Shattered Suns @Jason ! :) Among the things you mentioned, I'm into gaming and hiking! :D Not yet been to US but will soon in the near future!

Thanks for the support you all.

I guess I will have to get it for PC. Anyway, I want a gaming PC cause I am into digital art and it demands better graphics, but, of course, getting into computer gaming would be cool also. In fact, I've only played card games on a PC since when I was a teenager and then I played an airplane war game on Apple.

Sun is ok and nothing wrong with it. Shattered sun name possibly comes from the Sphere around it being a bit shattered in some places because of war. The size of the sphere itself is like 0.25 AU. All the life and gameplay will be happening on the outer shell of the sphere, and light here is coming from small holes in the Sanctuary that let light through and get reflected by mirrors in space back onto the surface. In the time of the campaign we will possibly get Sanctuary is 2/3 complete and everything, all planets in the solar system except Earth and Moon where completely mined out to build the Sanctuary. Moon was next, but when it was transported to Sanctuary something happened and it collided with the sphere, which was the spark of the conflict between EDA and Chosen that had bad relationship long before that. Sanctuary can lift matter from the sun itself to create resources, so if it doesn't get completely destroyed, it will be finished eventualy

Welcome to Shattered Sun @Jason maybe you might even like the game and be able to play what it has to offer and enjoy it. I mean it's so open world and so much that you can able to do ;) It's amazing what we have to read so far
