Red Alert 2 is a good pick, but Tiberium Wars (2007) has been my favourite as that is the version of the game that I can play for long without feeling bored or wanting to stop.

Red Alert 2 is a pretty good choice, but one would be able to understand resource control in order to enjoy playing in this challenge.

Even though I also enjoyed playing Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2, it will be Command & Conquer: Generals that's going to be my favorite in the game's series. The unique factions of USA, China, and GLA (Global Liberation Army) added so much strategic gameplay in the game.
