Your technology breaks?

I try to be reaonabley ready for tech advancements with my purchases.
 
A couple of years. I tend to use my gadgets carefully so they don't start having issues until I get tired of them
 
I try to get the most out of my stuff, I do not buy the latest and greatest every year as its a waste and costs too much money.
