Will there be AI?

One of the things I loved about supcom (yeah, I know this isn't supcom) was the ability to play endless mammoth games against multiple AI players. I would often battle against several in a team to increase the challenge. Will Shattered Sun offer the same flexibility? Will there be AI opponents or is this just PVP?

As much as PVP is what most want to see in a game such as Shattered Sun, there are many people who play these kinds of games who do like to use AI as well, especially when it comes to things such as working out a strategy or even just learning more about the game without jumping in with other plays and using AI instead.

I sure do hope they do bring AI opponents in as an option.

They are not currently working on it will be in the kickstarter goal for now what is promise is the multiplayer whit the 3 factions whit lanbd and air.

The Kickstarter has been postponed twice (at least) now. It was supposed to be December 2022 and then August 2023. There has been investment meaning it hasn't been necessary. The longer this goes on the more likely we are to see all the stretch goals realised. I think there will be AI.

It's good that it will be in the Kickstarter goal, it means there is a possibility of us getting it at some point even if we do not get it at the beginning.

Multiplayer with the 3 factions is going to be enough to keep us all going in the beginning though.

That is going to be interesting to see when more of the community are able to use this to make their own maps. I love how games have these options now to allow the community to make their own creations so that you have something unique in the game as well as what is the default in the game as well.

We will hopefully see a tonne of user created maps. Maybe even some ported over from FAF *cough* Setons *cough*
