The Chosen

A society of Post-Humans who have transferred their consciousness from flesh to machine. Believing themselves to be the next step in Human evolution, their heightened intelligence is matched only by their aesthetic sense. The Chosen wage war from their super-computer networks, leading armies of killing machines as beautiful as they are deadly.

The Chosen are the most technologically advanced of all three factions, utilizing sleek designs and personal shielding to close the distance and crush their enemies with a deadly array of exotic energy weapons. Their war machines are very specialized, but also expensive. An emphasis on quality over quantity will require managing fewer units to greater effect. Each of their Sentinels houses the consciousness of an individual Chosen, and should it be destroyed the consciousness dies with it. The Chosen are few in number, so utmost care must be taken in protecting these peerless field marshals.

Ex-humans who have transferred their consciousness to a computer brain and now spend most of their time inside a supercomputer network.

Motivation: Religiously inflict absolute order on all life. Eventually take over sanctuary for themselves.

How they see EDA: Natural humans are dull flesh bags barely capable of intelligent thought, and only the best and brightest are chosen to ascend to the immortal and wondrous realm of The Chosen.

How they see RA: a menace

The Journey: The player starts off as one of the junior commanders as many of the important Chosen were destroyed in the blast.

Appearance: Angelic, curvaceous, royal, holographic, superior?

Each time I see something new or more information on this faction, The Chosen it still screams out at me that it's the one for me.

I love how they were once humans and have now turned to machines and that is something that I find interesting and that I feel is one reason I prefer this faction over the others.

They are the superior beings in the Dyson Sphere, their intelligence outshines any ordinary human and that's one of the reasons why I decided to go with The Chosen. Heck if there was a possibility in real life that I could upload my conscious into a computer, I'd definitely do so.

The Chosen

Ex-humans who have transferred their consciousness to a computer brain and now spend most of their time inside a supercomputer network.

Technically no, they didn't transfer their consciousness from brain to machine, they CONVERTED their brain into a synthetic one. They are not digital, they still have a brain that houses their consciousness, and destruction of it is death to the Chosen. The structure of their brain is the same, except they replaced all of the neurons with synthetic one by one, and it is MUCH better then regular one. And they have more straightforward connection to computers and machines

There is mistake here, they didn't upload their consciousness to computer, they concerted their brain itself into a synthetic one. Their brain is still physically, and it houses their consciousness. Destruction of it is death
