The Golden Joystick Awards (Wooden Spoon) is an award gaming ceremony which is used to highlight video games that are so disappointing in the year. It was established in 1983, to become one of the oldest and longest-running video game award ceremonies. It was later transition to an award that highlight positive achievements in games with the Wooden Spoon award scrapped out.
