What's the Hardest Game You've Ever Beaten?

The most common comment that I’ve found for ‘Dark Souls’ from gamers is ‘It is one of the hardest games I have ever won. I know that the controls are difficult and it has complex levels to beat. They all contribute to making It very challenging. Some name ‘Cuphead’, ‘Sekiro’, ‘Bloodborne’ as been difficult. What is the most difficult game you think you have ever conquered?

I'm good, but hard games tend to make me not want to finish them, not sure if I really beaten any really hard game. Though I think I got close on Battletoads for NES.
