What Are the Key Differences Between Dawn of War and Dawn of War II?

For those who’ve played both, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II, how do you compare these games in terms of gameplay, graphics, etc. Do you see any difference in the strategies in Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War and its sequel? Which game do you think offer a more tactical experience? If you have played both, which one is your favorite?.

They are very different. DoW1 is much more of a 'classic' RTS with a heavy focus on base building and recource management. DoW2 diluted the experience and was much more of a small squad based real-time tactics affair.
