Total Annihilation is a vintage RTS game that I had the chance to play some years ago. Even though the graphics were not as cutting-edge as those new RTS games, they were still outstanding when the game was first launched in 1997. The game's emphasis on unit customization has piqued the curiosity of new RTS gamers even today. It enables you to build formidable units by mixing various defense and weapon elements. The game's strategic intensity is completely astounding, which necessitates strong resource management skills.

Total Annihilation is a really cool old game! Very similar to legos but instead of adding more lego pieces to a structure, you get to build your own robots and tanks. The different parts of it can be assembled and disconnected in a way that will make them tough and muscular. It is also a very enjoyable game.

'The graphics are not as cutting edge'. Thats the best one can get for a game of the 90s to be honest. But it doesn't take away the fact that Total Annihilation is one of the best RTS games ever made.

For classic RTS games, they have never had a strong touch when it comes to graphics. It's the storyline and gameplay that have the biggest impression in the game. Dune II: The Building of a Dynasty which was developed and published in 1992 by Westwood Studio is another good example of classic RTS game.
