Who are the most influential RTS game developers? For me, I’ve got to go with Westwood Studios, the developer of the famous Command & Conquer and Blizzard Entertainment, the developer of StarCraft, another mind blowing RTS game that paved the way for the genre. I salute their innovation in shaping the RTS game landscape.

Don't forget Relic Entertainment (Company of Heroes) and Creative Assembly (Total War). These two developers’ attention to historical detail is mind blowing.

Relic Entertainment is definitely on top of the list as one of the most influential RTS game's developers. With games likeHomeworld and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, they have made a strong mark in the RTS games.

Chris Taylor anand Brian Reynolds deserve to be mentioned too because their work on game engines has really helped the RTS gaming community. We should not also forget about their modding too. It has really moved the RTS games to a whole new level.
