The hardest RTS game you have ever played?

For those who have been playing RTS games for a while now, which is the hardest RTS game you have ever played? I have come across people who call games like distant worlds and Age of Empire 2. What's your take on this?

I usually hear people complain about StarCraft 2, though it really depends on the person's skill of what they can handle.

I usually hear people complain about StarCraft 2, though it really depends on the person's skill of what they can handle.

StarCraft 2 is still one of the most difficult rts games out there. I would say that before anyone can be able to achieve more playing that game, they must have played a couple of the other ones, which are really good. Aside from that, you would really struggle trying to achieve success playing this particular game.

I like Age of Empires II very much, and interestingly, it is also one of the hardest RTS games I have ever played. I also find Supreme Commander and Starcraft II quite difficult to play.
