Suggest games with ROG elements similar to Age of Empires.

I'm currently looking for games that are similar to Age of Empires where one can level up each individual units and equip them with gears.
Your recommendations will be highly appreciated.

Like I was saying in the previous thread about SpellForce 3, it's a game which I can substitute for Age of Empires where you can level up each individual units and equip them with gears.

Another one is The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II. Units in the game gain experience as they fight. This helps them to become stronger and more effective.

I have actually tried Spellforce 3 and o don't think it is much different from the previous series. Kinda boring for me.

If you did not like Spellforce, maybe you should try Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. It is a RTS with RPG elements. I have played it and I enjoyed it.

What's the main thing about SpellForce 3 that makes it so boring for you? Between SpellForce: The Order of Dawn and SpellForce 2: Shadow Wars, which one is your favourite?

If you are interested in games similar to Age of Empires, Ideally you want games in which you will be able to influence the qualities your units have and the equipment they carry. Give Rise of Nations a go, you would definitely like it.
