RTS Esports and Competitions

I know there have been real-time strategy tournaments in recent years, but I am not seeing too many of them coming up. I know StarCraft II has been a significant part of the esports landscape, with major tournaments like the LCS, CDL, or VCT in the past.

So what happened to RTS tournaments? Was it Covid? Decreasing popularity? The gradual decline of esports as a whole? Share your thoughts below.

I am not sure, though, but it might be a decrease in popularity. These days most people no longer go for RTS games. However, that does not mean people no longer play RTS games.
