Ray Tracing in RTS Games

Ray tracing hard realism to games and it makes the graphics so catchy. Ray tracing in RTS games would definitely be a good addition. Age of Empires IV and StarCraft II use it. Some players argued that it slowed down the game. Is this true? Tell me your observation.

With Ray tracing on the RTS games, we should expect a more immersive gaming experience and, of course, better graphics. No one wouldn't want some elements of realism in their favourite RTS games because I do too. Warcraft III: Reforged shows what's possible with this.

Have you seen the Northgard's ray tracing? It's a Viking-themed RTS game, and it looks so stunning. With ray tracing, I see a clearer strategy and it helps to do better with the RTS games because things become realistically simple.

Due to the demanding computational requirements, ray tracing in RTS games is less common but in recent times it is been widely used. Ray tracing can create more realistic lighting effects, such as reflections, refractions, and shadows, thus making the game world more immersive.
