I’m looking for an old RTS game to play.

I’ve heard some cool things about the old RTS games. I also want to have a feel for their gameplay. Specifically, I want to play old Real-Time Strategy games from the 90s and probably early 2000. Does anyone remember some cool old games? I want to replay or find new ones.

Go proper old scholl wih Dune II from 1992. Considered by many to be the first RTS game. (It's terrible, truly!)

If I may be so bold, look at the Command and Conquer Remastered Collection. It's "old school" but a lot of the rough edges have been smoothed off. Well worth the investment.

I love old RTS games too. I go back to them for nostalgic feelings. Command & Conquer, Age of Empires, and StarCraft are classics you can go for. Trust me, you’ll have fun playing. The good thing is, they still hold up today. You can also try Warcraft II or Total Annihilation too.

I still played Dune II and Dark Reign last week. It was fun! They're old-school RTS games, but they have awesome graphics. You can find them online easily. Try them out!
