You know, once they change, they can't go back. I mean, now it seems like the thing to do, but we could regret it later. It would be like destroying a national park.
If we terraform a planet, it's probably because we've used up this one (sorry Earth!) and we're desperate for a new planet. So destroying its original state probably won't be the highest priority on our minds ...
It's a tough thing to answer with no right answer, it is wrong to change a whole planet for our benefit but at the same time, we will outgrow earth one day.
