How to beat Necrons?

I have been able to resume playing Soulstorm and had to get the unification mod and the campaign. So far, I've played like the elder, but beating necrons has been a very difficult task even when I set it to easy mode.

Can anyone help me with tips on how to get through?

I am an aggressive player, so I will give yo an answer based on how I play. I think the best way to go about it is to focus on early aggression and sustained pressure. In the early stages, consider striking before they set up their base and harass them while they are gathering resources. And whatever you do, do not let them get their technology tree going.

The key is ensuring they do not establish their base and economy and exploiting their slow build-up time.

Another idea is deploying high-damage, armor-piercing units combined with strong melee forces to defeat their ranged superiority.
