I love playing real-time strategy games all the time, and I also want to be a pro player someday. Right now, I'm still not as good as I wanted. I want to be able to beat my friends and have more fun while I laugh at them after defeating them. Can anyone help me get better? Can you share with me your secrets to winning?

Like every other thing we do, to get better you need to keep practicing. The more time you spend playing RTS game, the better you become. You can also watch tutorial videos online, it might help to some extent.

Sure! You can get better at RTS by practicing the basics. First, you should learn how to gather resources, build units, and explore the map. You can sharpen your skills by playing against the computer first, then you can move to multiplayer. Watching some relevant videos of expert players can also help to learn new tricks.

I started to master the RTS games by setting goals for each game. I set a goal to build 10 buildings in 10 minutes. Then, after achieving that, I go for the next. Also, I experiment with different armies and playstyles. To know more, you can join online forums to meet other players like @Al . That's how you can learn new strategies.

I think you should focus on mastering one game first so that you can understand core mechanics. You can play like StarCraft or Age of Empires, or any games but play just one game in the beginning. When I was new, I used to practice build orders, hotkeys, and multitasking daily. Watching pros and analyzing replays also helped me perfect my strategies and decision-making.
