I’m currently in the game Supreme Commander and I have a problem on how I can balance economy and military in different factions. What remains unclear is how to construct something and also wage war simultaneously. I have seen people do these but I don’t know how.

What you need to do is construct a city and an army. First, collect material like metals and power. Construct power generating plants, industries and barriers. You also need to know that each faction has their special units, so give it a shot and be free to experiment with different strategies.
