They look weird but weird in a good way. I guess it's because it is something different from what we have seen before it looks weird when we first see it.
I do like them though and the detail on them is just awesome! Almost looks like a bow and arrow in some of the images if you look closely

Function over style. Typical Guard. They’re not interested in aesthetics, just in getting the job done. It’s efficient.
