This is a good question and upon looking to see if this is possible I am drawing blanks right now. Could there be something else to bring to the attention of the devs for any answer?

I will admit, it would be nice to be able to write new codes and possibly adapt.

I'm not sure if The Guard would be able to write new codes they work with because from the information available on the The Guard here Factions | Sanctuary, it doesn't seem like they have the capacity of writing new codes.
