The commanders are heroes that take their armies into the battle. The ones that come to mind is Gabriel Angelos in Dawn of War. He is very good at battle. Farseer is also an amazing character in the Eldar army and can move extremely fast. He can cast its magic spells too. Each and every hero possesses ability that makes him/her powerful in fight and interesting to play with.
