Easy rts game for a newbie?

I am a bit good with rts games although I am not yet there yet. However, I've got a friend that has developed interest in playing rts games that I feel like I should get in the know. Do you have names of rts games that would be very easy for someone looking to play the games casually?

Hello, I think there are different ones that you can try if you are new to the genre, but I especially recommend Starcraft 2, unlike the first video game in the franchise, this one is much simpler.

Dawn of War is a pretty great choice as well. Yes, there is some level of expertise needed, but it is still one of the games that can blend well with what the newbie requires.

There are so many RTS games which a new player to the game genre can adjust easily to playing. Some of the notable one's that I've played and enjoyed are ; Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, Northgard and Company of Heroes 2.
