I do not really like to use my brains when I'm playing a game, but since it is a strategic game where you need to plan a strategy, I think that it does require some brain power if you want to be good at the game. What do you think?

If you are not intelligent and strategic, you will do very badly at real-time strategy games. That is just the honest truth.

Is there any kind video games that you're going to play with making use of your brain power? I can't think of anyone. Even when it comes to playing RTS games which is about strategy, planning and resource management, don't you make use of your brain in doing that?

What kind of question is this? I am really surprised with the statement "I do not really like to use my brains when I'm playing a game." No matter what games you play, you will have to rake your brains, even to play games like racing, shooting, etc. However, some games, for instance RTS games, need more thinking and planning.

Absolutely, RTS games require a lot of brain power! They’re all about making quick decisions, managing resources, and strategizing on the fly, which keeps your mind constantly engaged. You need to think ahead, plan your moves, and adapt to your opponent’s strategies, all while keeping track of multiple elements like units, buildings, and resources. The balance between tactical decisions during combat and strategic planning makes RTS games a real test of mental agility. It’s not just about fast reflexes, it’s about thinking critically and outsmarting your opponent. Do you find RTS games mentally challenging?

RTS games require that you think, and not just think, but that you also calculate. And most times, you have very limited time to put all variables together to make a decision. RTS games would stretch your brain and also improve your thinking capacity.

This shouldn't even be a question honestly. RTS games require a lot of brain power. Everything that you're going to do when playing any kind of RTS games needs you to work with your brain in processing and putting strategies together. If your brain fail to work in its full capacity, you will lose.

It's right in the name! Strategy. You do need brainpower and I would even argue that you need to think, calculate, and strategize much more than you need to in other types of games.
