Do you prefer FPS or TPS games?

Video games which are in the shooting franchise are either designed as first person shooter or 3rd person shooter. Which one of them do you prefer player more and what's your favourite first person or 3rd person shooter game?

I prefer the FPS games because it let me see through the eyes of the character. It's more engaging and addictive too I don't like seeing game characters from the outside like in third-person shooter games.

I don't mind either way, kind of depends on my mood but these days I need something quick and fun and usually go for FPS.
